The Thomann 11 1/10 Europe Double Bass has drawn inspiration from its ancestors that have amused audiences since their inception into contemporary music in the 1920s and 30s. This double bass has an arched maple back that accents the higher frequencies while still keeping the warmth intact. The round ebony fretboard adds more percussion overtones and brightness to the sound to enhance the clarity of the sound. You can easily set the preferred tension for the string with the Tyrolean machine heads. The double bass can be set to a convenient playing height with the adjustable endpin. Additionally, the endpin provides support for the player when he/she balances the instrument on the surface.
