The Thomann Portuguese Deluxe Bouzouki represents the innovative genius of an Irish musician who developed an instrument by blending the Portuguese guitar body and the Greek bouzouki neck. The soundhole of this instrument is surrounded by mother of pearl inlays, which enhance its aesthetic appeal. The solid spruce top lends adequate stiffness to the overall construction of the guitar apart from providing an optimum fundamental-to-overtone ratio. The fretboard is constructed out of Australian blackwood. This tonewood variety provides a tight bottom end and a bright top end.
