The Sonor ProLite Bass Drum has been designed to amaze. It lends open sounds to an ensemble with other members of the drum set following suit. This bass drum features a maple shell constructed using the Cross-laminated Tension Free (CLTF) process, which in turn optimises its internal acoustic resonance to produce warm tones with extended sustain. Ten tension rods are incorporated in the hoops for the tuning of the head. Moreover, the TuneSafe lugs ensure that the head tension stays stable, thus eliminating the need for periodic tuning. The unique spurs with rubber feet prevent the bass drum from moving during a performance.
