The ACB-5 banjo pickup is a five-string dual-coil magnetic pickup using Alnico magnets as the core material. The pole pieces compensate for string balance for any variety of string gauges. The innovative design has the coils of the ACB spaced apart from one another creating acoustic "chambers''. These "gaps'' allow sound waves inside the banjo to resonate around the coil walls that add acoustic quality that has not been achieved in a magnetic pickup until now.
