Although the Gold-P6 is smaller in size, Cort has several features that help to deliver a big, natural tone. This model has a deep body depth at 3 11/16’’ by 4 7/16’’. The solid mahogany sides and back help provide depth with excellent dynamics. A Macassar ebony pyramid bridge further helps the Gold-P6 reproduce genuine acoustic tones.

• PARLOR BODY

Based on the revered vintage parlor body guitars from the 1930’s, the 12th fret neck-body joint not only imparts a classical look but produces a strong low-end and surprisingly loud volume for a guitar of its compact size. The deep body depth of the Gold-P6 provides a huge sound, unmatched volume and great dynamics as well as a classic look outlined by its graceful curves. The body depth is 93 * 112㎜(3 21/32 * 4 13/32")

• AGED TO VINTAGE TOP

A vintage instrument is the holy grail of acoustic guitar tone. The wood on the top cures and opens up more over time. This unleashes a tonal quality that is missing in new instruments — until now. Using a special process that we call ATV (Aged To Vintage) we treat the solid sitka spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.

• SOLID MAHOGANY BACK & SIDES

Bright yet natural with a strong and warm midrange, the beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for back and sides on premium acoustics for many decades. All-solid construction is featured on this model.
DOUBLE-LOCK NECK JOINTThe connection between a guitar’s neck and body is another key factor for great sound. On the Gold, we started with a tight fitting traditional dovetail neck joint. We then reinforced it by adding a bolt. This DoubleLock neck joint maximizes the transfer of tone and enhances resonance on the Gold.

• WALNUT REINFORCED NECK

The neck on the Gold has been reinforced for added rigidity and stability using two special inserts. This is constructed with two pieces of walnut installed to add stability while still retaining the natural properties of wood to further upgrade the Gold.

• EBONY BRIDGE PINS

The high density of Ebony wood keeps the fundamental acoustic sound focused and tight with greater sonic projection than plastic, enhancing the transfer of the string vibrations throughout the soundboard top, body and the neck.

• GENUINE BONE NUT & SADDLE

For the most natural and organic sound and feel, there is nothing quite like genuine bone for the saddle and the nut, two critical contact points for the strings to vibrate freely and transfer that energy into the woods of the guitar.

• MACASSAR EBONY FINGERBOARD

Very similar to Rosewood in both looks and sound, the Macassar Ebony produces a deep lush sound with transparent highs. The wood’s detailed grains add a luxurious high-end look.

• SONICALLY ENHANCED UV FINISH

The high-tech finish is strong and resistant to scratches while being lightweight to improve the natural acoustic resonance of the body for a full-bodied and rich tone.
